General Impression

This is a large lounge which stretches over most of the Air New Zealand Domestic Pier. It is light, bright and clean with lots of seating and different areas in which to sit.

Food and Beverages

The food offering is consistent with Air New Zealand's offerings in all their domestic lounges, it is tasty and extensive and the dishes change regularly throughout the day. There is a large choice of alcoholic (20+ beers, wine, spirits) and soft drinks, a range of teas and freshly brewed coffee.

Showers and Spa

There is a good washroom with a couple of showers - very good for a domestic lounge.

Entertainment and Business-facilities

There is access to computers with broadband internet access, printers and a copier. There is a good range of newspapers and magazines. Complimentary WiFi Internet access is available.

Special facilities and services

In common with public areas in New Zealand there is no smoking.

I have used this lounge many times. If ever I've had a problem with needing to rebook something or similar the staff have provided me with excellent service and been very efficient and prompt. Air New Zealand looks after all Star Alliance Gold Card holders extremely well and the staff in this lounge really do go the extra mile to be helpful.
