Alaska Airlines Board Room members traveling on Continental Airlines or Alaska Airlines have access for the same day that they hold a ticket for travel on Continental or Alaska. Two guests or spouse and children under 21 may accompany the member.
General Impression
Bright, airy, and open semi-circle room is pleasant, and often quiet. A tiny TV room is set off behind the coffee/snack area, seating perhaps four to six, is nice for containing television noise. Very nice view to the east of a departure runway (61/1, I think) and an arrival runway. Friendly and pleasant staff.
There is neat history behind this PC, as it has been a VIP restaurant, a nightclub, and apparently other things. That said, it's attractive and light, but I haven't found it as amazing as some have.
Food and Beverages
Snacks include extensive chips, snack mix, peanuts at the bar, and little else. Bar is staffed, and fairly quick at that, since they can usually see you from the reception area.
Morning snacks include mini muffins, bagels and english muffins. A toaster, butter, jelly and peanut butter are provided. Bar is unstaffed in the morning, but you can ask for a cocktail for the front desk attendant.
