Location, Hours and Access

• The First class terminal is in its own building next to the airport terminal 1. Either a short walk away or you can take advantage of the complimentary shuttle-service. Ask for the shuttle service at any first-class check-in in terminal 1 hall A/B; shuttle-service parking/pickup point is now in front of hall B!
• Mon-Sun 05:30-last LH flight
• Access
  • Pax departing in First Class on Lufthansa (MUST have received tickets from Lufthansa check-in, not United even ticket is Lufthansa paper)
  • Lufthansa HON card, leaving with Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines or SWISS
  • Pax arriving on Lufthansa First Class tickets, leaving with Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines or SWISS the same day
  • One guest, who has to be on the same flight

(There have been conflicting statements as to whether or not pax arriving Lufthansa 1st class but connecting to Lufthana, Austrian, or SWISS would have access; as of this posting (7 December, 2008), flyertalk prevailing wisdom and experience show that these pax do have access to the FCT. PLEASE UPDATE IF THIS POLICY CHANGES)

General Impression

By far the finest lounge in Germany. Fantastic, stylish interior and great service. Truly a milestone in the history of airport-lounges.

Food and Beverages

Great food, huge selection, you can sit restaurant-style and get your food served or you can help yourself at the lavish buffet. Great bar with enormous selection, very professional bartender, 13 different beers, 70 choices of whisky, fine champagne.

Showers and Spa

Beautiful restrooms, the most luxurious shower-facilities.

Entertainment and Business-facilities

Huge selection of magazines and newspapers, WLAN (free 1/2 hour sessions), fax, payphones, laptops for rent (free), 4 office-rooms where you can close doors and work in privacy, huge plasma screens for tv, B&O stereo with plenty CDs in the cigar lounge/smoking room, DVDs for rent (free)

Special facilities and services

Cigar lounge (Smoking room), Limo transfer to plane (MB S-Class or Porsche Cayenne), Valet Parking, Rental car drop off, office cubicles, 2 sleeping rooms.

• I recently went through a couple weeks ago (17 March) and got my First Class tickets from United check-in (Lufthansa paper ticket on Lufthansa flight) and was told by Lufthansa I could not use the First Class Terminal, but was invited to the First Class Lounge in the airport. I was disappointed at this new rule. - Wiggums

• I've been there twice and it is the best. When I went the second time, the bar in the cigar room seemed to be more well-stocked. They have such outstanding desserts and I'm always having that stack of candies and chocolates. I don't understand why they have rubber duckies in bathrooms though! And twice I got the Porsche Cayenne to the plane. I keep hoping for the Benz S-Class. - Richie Brklacich

• Great lounge. Never been to a better one. I was able to obtain the use of a free printer for my laptop to print out a boarding pass. Great service. And you can avoid the "airport". Nobbi 03:01, 12 Jan 2006 (CET)

• Best Lounge ever !!! You can spend Hours there relaxing, working and sleeping. Very outstanding food and beverage selection. The Transfer to the Aircraft in Porsche Cayenne is amazing. Kossmehl 07.01.2005

• Outstanding lounge! very professional service, great food and beverages. Possibly the finest lounge in the world.

• Inside the lounge is an excellent duty free, however if you want something specific, camera, swatch, etc, you have to call ahead or have more than 90 minutes time, and they bring it from the main building. You can pay also with LH M&M and you earn M&M miles for shopping there .

• Ask for Susi - one of the best they have working there! She usually works afternoon shifts. The staff, in general, is all over you, constantly re-filling drinks, picking up scraps, etc. Best lounge on earth, IMO.

• You won`t leave this wonderful oasis of luxourious. It´s the best in world!!!!!!!!!!!!

• This lounge is undoubtly the No. 1 in the world. I never experienced a more relaxable athmospere and a better individual service. The luxourious and outstanding service, the food and drinks are just wonderful. You really won't ever leave this luxourious oase, however, the direct limousine and individual escort to the passport control make this moment a little easier. Compliment to the staff and LH!! H.-J. • Unbelievable selection of fine food and drinks. There is a seating area in the reception-area where you can entertain guests that have no access to the lounge, they even offer you champagne there.

• Have been in this lounge many times and think that service-level is going down a bit...
