Visitor Comments
have visited three times, but a logistical note from the last visit: many AC flights code-share with UA and an annoyance of this in Edmonton (as well as in my hometown, Winnipeg) is clearing US immiration before the UA flight --to a separate area/terminmal with no lounge. However, at least in Edmonton I benefitted from a transfer from YWG that allowed me past security in the domestic area --where the lounge staff gladly accepted me to wait out most of my 3-hour layover. So, for those tranferring in Edmonton (or several other smaller AC cities like YWG) to the USA with a long layover, consider killing time in the domestic lounge before leaving security to a rather boring waiting area.Cloudcuckooland 02:48, 1 Aug 2008 (CEST) Visited in late November 2007 en route to LHR. To access lounge turn left after security, and enter through double doors on left before you reach gates 54/56. Stairs and elevator lead you to reception, clean and well stocked restrooms are on your left. Entering the lounge itself there's a quiet workspace with computers to the left. A comfortable and cosy lounge with a modern fireplace dividing the space. Average view from the lounge down to the gates below; the structure of the terminal obscures a good view of the tarmac. Exceptionally friendly staff, I believe there were three on duty when I visited in the early evening. Everything was well stocked and dirty dishes / glasses were whisked away by the attentive lounge staff. The Gray Cup was being played for during my visit, and the lounge adapted well to the crowd who wanted to watch the game. Very good rest stop before the flight to London; many passengers in the lounge joined me in the J cabin of that flight, so must be doing well. Look forward to the next visit.
