Location, Hours and Access

• Location: Gate 26, opposite of British Airways' lounge

• Access: LH FTL, Star Alliance Gold, Star Alliance First & Business Class passengers

General Impression

The lounge consists of a Business and a First Class section. Star Alliance Gold & First Class = First Class section, LH FTL & Business Class = Business section

First impression: nice style, some plants. Second impression: very, very small (during rush hour you can hardly get a seat even in the First Class area) and missing many important services, like showers and real food. That's not what you expect of First Class.

Food and Beverages

Just snacks (nuts, crackers) and the standard drinks for both sections. Okay for Business but very poor for a First Class lounge in my opinion. Yes, you can have a soup from the microwave. But that's not what I call "food".

Recently [2007] they added some nice sandwiches to the buffet of both sections.

Showers and Spa

No showers

Entertainment and Business-facilities

There are two computers with slow but free internet access. The alternative is very expensive wireless internet. Entertainment: Yes, I think there is a TV. Plus international newspapers.

Well, Lufthansa/the Star Alliance has to improve this lounge definitely. Small, no food, no showers. That's not a First Class lounge and hardly a Business lounge.
