• Location: Air side across from gate 15, on upper level
• Opening Hours: 24 hours

• Access: escalators, lift, stairs. Lounge access available to GF, WY, Jet Airways and GF codeshare premium cabin passengers as well as Gulf Air Silver and Gold Frequent Flyers regardless of cabin.

General Impression

Excellent Lounge, with relaxing atmosphere and complete amenities.

Food and Beverages

Arabic Coffee and date service at entrance. Express bar area at entrance, includes mini snack buffet, capuccino machine, fridge stocked with bottled water and soft drinks. Inside, full bar includes hot buffet, cold appetizers and salads, sanwiches, soup, freshly baked cookies, alcholic and soft drinks, juices, tea and coffee. Paasenegers with access to 1st class section of lounge can enjoy personalized food service by chef on duty! (available at certian hours of day).

Showers and Spa

Separate shower factilities available, and shower packs are provided to guests.

Entertainment and Business-facilities

Apple Mac stations at Express bar area with bar stools and counter seating, inside area includes several PC stations. Both Mac and PC are connected to a central printer and free ADSL internet access. Lounge features complimentary unlimited wi-fi connection. B&O phones available throughout lounge with complimentary calls inside Bahrain. Fax machine available. There is a central shelf stocked with International and local Arabic and English newspapers as well as a large variety international magazines. Several Plasma screens throughout lounge show BBC world, while others show updated flight information. Interesting feature is that an xbox game arcade is available at the end of lounge (after children's area) and available for use by adults and children.

Special facilities and services

Lounge is non smoking but has special smoking areas. All facilities have access for people with disabilities. There is a prayer room. There is a separate first class section in the lounge. There is an exclsive children's section and at certain hours of the day Gulf Air's signature "Sky nannys" are available to keep an eye on kids. Gulf Air's signature "Sky chefs" on hand a t certian hours to serve guests in 1st class section.

Lounge is designed in a way that is sleek and modern yet reflects an Arabian touch and matches the airline's corporate identity. Atmosphere is extremely relaxed and offers awesome views of the airport apron and runways.

Gulf Air agents on hand at deidcated counter and on my many visits to this lounge have found them extremely helpful when called upon and often exceeded expectations.
